A suggested route, not a package you can book here.
Day 1: Paramaribo, slowly
Arrive and walk the historic center without trying to finish it. Confirm which coastal trip is actually on: Galibi with a Kali'na host in nesting season, or Bigi Pan if it is not.
Day 2: Food and the market
Central Market in the morning, and a meal that you will not get on the coast or the river. Finish any cash you need for boats and small kitchens. Cards are not a plan outside the city.
Day 3: Toward the coast
Travel west to Nieuw Nickerie for Bigi Pan, or east to Albina for the boat to Galibi. Either road takes a large part of the day. Do not schedule a wetland dawn or a night beach on the same date as this drive.
Day 4: Wetlands or the nesting beach
This is the reason for the drive. At Bigi Pan, go out with a boatman at dawn. At Galibi, rest in the day and follow the guide at night: no white light, no flash, no touching, and you do not stand between a turtle and the sea.
Day 5: Back toward the city
Return to Paramaribo. Use the evening to confirm the Atjoni boat, or the Zorg en Hoop charter if the nature reserve has already replaced the river. Do not sightsee on the way back just to fill the seat.
Day 6: South to the river
Drive the Afobaka road to Atjoni and take the boat upriver. If the reserve flight is the confirmed plan instead, this is the flight from Zorg en Hoop and the short boat to Raleigh Falls. One of these, not both.
Day 7: With your hosts
A forest walk and the river, or the falls and the approach to Voltzberg if you flew to Raleigh. Follow the host. The pace is the point.
Day 8: The same place, again
Stay. A second day in one forest is worth more than a transfer. If weather cancels a flight out, this spare day is what absorbs it.
Day 9: North again
Return to Paramaribo by boat and road, or by the charter if you were at Raleigh. Be off the interior connection before dark. Eat, and repack for the flight home.
Day 10: Depart
Leave a clear margin for the ride to Zanderij. If the previous day ran long, the airport is the only plan. A last walk on Waterkant is a gift, not a requirement.
Places on this route
Do not plan Galibi and the Central Suriname Nature Reserve in the same ten days. Both depend on weather, boats, or small planes. Pick one uncertainty. The river from Atjoni is the default interior.
